the people next door hate me

I BOUGHT ALL MY TOOLS/EQUIPMENT CHEAP AS DIRT FROM A GUY WHOSE NEIGHBORS WERE ASSES ABOUT HIM WORKING ON CARS.

IM NOT TOO SURE ABOUT MINE YET, I JUST GOT MY SHOP UP RECENTLY AND STILL DONT EVEN HAVE ELECTRICITY IN IT YET. MY NEIGHBORS SEEM OK AS FAR AS HAVING UNTAGGED VEHICLES AROUND BUT WE WILL SEE HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT NOISE AND FUMES SOON. THEY HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO BITCH ABOUT MY TRUCK BEING TOO LOUD, BUT I CAN UNDERSTAND WHEN I AM WARMING IT UP AT LIKE 7 AM WITH THE CHOKE ON SO IT SITS AT LIKE 2OOO RPM W/ FLOWMASTER AND NO EXHAUST PIPE.

i think i got all yall beat.

I have this neighbor that has been on me for about two years. She emails the police every monday with the weekend update. She informs them what i was woking on, what tools i was using and WHAT THEY WERE REGISTERING ON HER DECIMETER. NO JOKE, I HAVE SEEN THE DECIMETER. She tells them the licesne plate #'s of the cars at my house, how long they were there and what came and left on a trailer. She takes pics of me daily when i am working or pushing cars around my backyard. I get letter from code enforcment monthly.The police show up weekly and make me pull the paperwork and run the vins on whatever i am working on, i have this shit on video. She tried to say that i had to many cars and they couldn't all possibly be mine.Then she tried to say that i am running an auto repair shop out of my home.Most recent, she found a code that says your garage cant exceed 1000 sq feet and the city came out and measured my garage. The full police report is about 1 1/2" thick, about 200 pages, it is crazy, like i have a stalker.

I AM ON A 1 YEAR PROBATION FOR "INOPERABLE VEHICLE IN PUBLIC VEIW", WHICH I PLEAD NO CONTEST.

I still work on people's rides, i just have them sign them over to me first...FUCK UM

im one of the lucky few with nice neighbors, one is a welder by trade and gave me a hand with his mask on to teach me. I have a city of miami cop 2 doors down who has gotten me outta tickets, the guy across the street lends me tools and shyt. All the people that ride bike or walk dogs all stop to see whats new with the rides and ask me some questions. None even cared when i bodydropped the truck in my driveway. The head of the homeowners association is a dick tho but he doesnt fuck with me, just tells me to move it in a timely manner(a weekly discussion with him lol) and this is what all my neighbors see

I had a car cover on my truck when it didnt have a bed, someone called the city. When I came out the front door the inspector was writing an abandoned vehicle violation because there wasnt a legal tag on it. I asked him why he thought I would buy a car cover for an abandoned vehicle and he told me he doubted I had registration or insurance for it and that the tag had to be visble OUTSIDE the car cover. So I went in, got the registration, insurance, and tag, along with a screw gun and a self tapping screw. I plopped the paperwork right on top of the violation he was writing and screwed the tag THROUGH the car cover into the rear frame. He got pissed and left.

Next time he came out, I had the bed on and the tag. He was writing a violation again, and said he put a stick behind the wheel to see if the truck moved in a month. It didnt, and he doubted it could because the "suspension was tore out of it" and the tires were on the fenders. So I went in and got my keys. While he was writing I got in, aired the truck up, started it, drove it around the block, came back, parked, aired out, and looked at him. He was ready to bite nails, but he tore up the violation.

Most recently I read the law and if your truck is behind the front edge of the house they cant bother you about it, the ordinance is only for vehicles parked in the front driveway. So I moved it to the side of my house and havent had a single problem.

Well my neighbor is an asshole but luckly we own our own shop so we dont do any work at our house

None of my neighbors are in to cars, and I know I piss them off with the noise I make. But thanfully none of them have complained. Yet.

most of my neighbors that live near me are cool, i dont like some of them but they dont call the law on me a stuff. I had one one cop visit for being loud during the day and the cop to me that the guy who called had a hang over. lol but he later apologized. No one complains about smells or loudness or the test drags we doo infrount of my house. Honestly i think they like it even though they dont understand it.here is my friends lincoin infrount of my house.

hell my neighbor comes over and helps....and brings beer with him!!! guess i got it pretty good in that aspect...ask james (bagged85) he can vouch for my neighbor

i always had pretty damn cool neighbors. i use to throw ridiculous parties and rarely get the cops called on me... well there was once where the cops came and my buddy ( a local broward cop) went out side to talk to them... turns out that my house was targeted as a drug house lol bc of all the traffic flow coming in and out lol it was just alot of parties and friends stopping by drinkin while im at work lol. but two wweeks later they "raided my house" since the cop was my buddys friend. he just said i dont care if you got crack on the table just sign this shit and ill be on my way lol it was awesome!~

im gettin pissed just by reading everyones stories lol. i never have any problems with nieghbor or antthing thankfully. but then again, im not bodydropping my truck in the driveway. but the way everyones talking it sounds illegal. probly a dumb question, but is working on your truck at YOUR OWN HOUSE illegal??
