ok not completely bolt on i know that the tie rod end would have to still be delt with, I work at a salvage yard and today i had to remove some parts off a late 80's 2wd yota and the upper and lower looked similer to the mazda they way it mounted and such, so i measured the holes on the strut mount and they were the same between the mazda and yota was wondering if anyone has tried bolting yota uppers and lowers to a mazda im gonna give it a shot when i get a chance.

Always worth the shot to try it out if it doesn't cost you anything since you work at a salvage yard. I have some 22" for sale that are 5 lug. 5 on 5 1/2 to be exact.

very true my only thing is time, and 22's sound awesome but thats way to much work for me to do to make my truck slower than it already is lol.

no one has any input? huh figured more people would be curious about this considering the price it is to convert a mazda to 5 lug hopefully it works im building my mini on a tight budget and the more i can cut the cost down the better, ill try to see if i can do it this weekend and let you all know how it went. I almost forgot the yota arms look a lil shorter than the mazda's as well which would also be very helpfull.

won't work and I will tell ya why! The uppers look at the center of the ball joints in the arms look how the mazda is not in the center of the arms and towards the front and a toyota is a lot more centered.

this will work, i did it a long time ago for a friend. but i can remember if it was the top or if it was the bottom arm we got from the yota. which ever it was u gotta use the ball joint for it.

im not quit sure what ya mean i measured mounting points from the cabs firewall and the distance is the same roughly, and the bottom control arm mount is in the same position below the upper arm mount so i am not sure what ya mean about being more "centered" i will have to take another look at them both and try to figure out what ya mean thanks for the input though and the same for you ticktock.

wont work, the crossshafts have a different mount pattern, the balljoint is centered on the yota, the mazda balljoints are offset from the center of the arm, the lower balljoint will fit the yota spindle though, just has to be flipped upside down. the tie rods are different also.
