i am wanting to try to sheetmetal the floor of my brothers truck by using the 3m panel adhesive... problem is i dont have the gun to apply it. and im not sure i want to buy one yet becaus eim not sure how ill like it. would anyone be willing to rent one to me or let me borrow one? i promise we can work out a way that you wont get ripped off and that you kow who i am and all. maybe i could put a deposit on the gun in your paypal account or something that youll give back to me when you get the gun back and see that it has been well taken care of.. or something like that. any help will be greatly appreiated. im looking to do it as soon as possible. thanks again

Those guns run about $40 or $50. I say it's worth it because you'll have it to use on all 2-part epoxy's or sealers you use from here on out.

They make cheaper versions of the gun that will work with alot of the other 2 part adhesives and sealers. The one made by 3m for their stuff is like 300 bucks.

my supplier gave me my gun if i bought 6 tubes of adhesives or sealers. youll love it its the best system we have used to date. the gun is never idle they make a product that u can use anywhere. the seam sealers are also the best we have ever used, quick dry and no shrink. if your going to sheet metal a floor youll need atleast three tubes of glue and a couple sealer so you might see if theyll give you a gun
