Chrome air tank problem....

ok... i bought an air tank from a company that hangs around this site alot... i bought a lot of stuff from them pritty much a whole air setup... and everything was great and they were super good about stuff.. however i got my tank all installed ( even used some bushings i had laying around between the legs) and stuff and i have only put about maybe a few hundred miles on the car and all of the sudden the two legs on the tank have broken off the welds separated from the tank... has anyone ever had any problems like this? i got ahold of the company and they looked into and said that i would have to speak to the maker of the tank.. i dont know what to do.. i could weld it back but i dont wana make a mess of all the chrome on the tank... anyone?

wow that sucks dude, i only have the black tank but it seems to be put together rather strong...
id deffinately inform the company, you shouldnt have to worry about somthing like that unless you were throwing it around or somthing? haha

haha thats what i thought to!! haha i just made a custom bracket for my trunk and had it bolted down tightly with those busshings in there and all the welds came un-cunted... the company i bought the tank from said the tanks company was "Airlift" is that right? i dont have any contact information to them...

chrome tanks suck, we used to take a tank to shows that was cut in half to show how badly they rust on the inside..... now another reason not to buy them, the legs break off
