if you mount all the valves on the tank and you blow a line you only loose pressure in the bag if you mount them on the bag and blow a line you loose pressure in the bag and tank then all bags go down because no back pressure there are pros and cons to both ways so it is up to you. and on the body roll yes it is a little worse but not enough to tell a difference that is why you should only use 8 valvs becouse with 4 you get very bad body roll and always rember keep a clean booty
Or you could put check valves on the line as it exits the tank, and then it'd be better than having the valves on the tank. If you get a hole in the line, the valves would hold the air in the bags and the check valves would hold the air in the tank.

Yeah but most if not all valves have to have some type of back pressure to stay sealed. Therefore if you had a hole in the line then the fill valve wouldn't have any back pressure and would let the air out of the bags.
