1993 GMC Jimmy Spindles

My friend wants to upgrade his brakes and was wondering if he can use fullsize truck spindles on his 1993 GMC Jimmy 4x4 to do this? I don't know jack crap about swapping out brakes systems and spindles so school me and I'll pass it along to him. I suggested maybe using Baer Brake upgrade if they have it for his truck... what should he do? What would be the cost difference?
