Crown Vic - Lincoln Mark 8 Motor/Trans?

Will a 94 Crown Vic (Police Interceptor) Auto. engine/trans fit into a 94 Lincoln Mark 8 auto?

its the same basic block so it should but why would yo want less power?

I might be wrong but sin't the Mark 8 a 32 valve where as the Vic is a 16 valve? If this is the case then there would be more work involved.

not in 94, should still be a 302 or 351..

normal 5.0 or 5.8 motor. if it is, it will be a direct dropin, if it is the 302 or 351

they switched to the 4.6 in 94 in the crown vic,thunderbird,lincoln tc and mk8,grand marquis. the mustang still had the 5.0 thru 95. the mk8 4.6 is alumimum 32vave dohc 4.6 v8 with 280hp. the crown vic was an iron block sohc 16 valve 4.6 v8 with 215hp
