interior questions

ok, so i've done minor interior upholstery work before. now i want to build a headliner with stars and designs cut into it for my girl's isuzu. my questions are: what foam/material is best to use? what kind of store could i buy it at? and what's the best to cover something like this with? i'm thinking tweed.

greg i will take care of it for you....the foam is called close cell. it comes in 1/8 in 1/4, 1/2 in and 1 in. thickness. an to update truck is on jack stands wating on some parts...joey
