Best way to shave out a dash??

im fixin to redo my dash...wanting to shave out all the vents and stuff....is the best way to do that is glass it or what?? if so..just the liquid resin, jelly, mat...etc..i just dont want cracking..let me know..thanks

Use cardboard to fill in the holes. Make sure the bezel is scuffed up really well and cleaned. get all the Armoral off. Then lay sheets of fiberglass over it. I just shave the passenger airbag i my Dakota. I screwed the cover on after taking the blown air bag out and then layed 2 sheets of fiberglass over it. Filled in the low spots with kitty hair or 2 or 3 times and then put another lay of fiberglass on to "lock it in" saned it smooth and lay a few skim costs of bono over it. Thats how you do it more or less
