I would argue that those people died BECAUSE people in general really don't care about politics. I feel for everyone lost and everyone that lost someone, but if all we do is remember, and not try to change things with "politics", then we're destined to lose even more americans to this war.
Being political or opinionated about this topic does nothing to minimize the memorial theme of this thread, but rather keeps the memory alive for much more than just one day a year. Remember them EVERY day, and do what you can to make the world better in their honor. THAT would mean more to the families and the fallen than having a thread filled with RIP and god bless everyone...
