panhard bar

i have a cantilever 2-link i need to know if the bar should be level and parallel to the axle at ride height? Since when i lift it all the way up the axle will be moving forward alot should i have heim joints on each end of the bar?

make it as long as possible and have it parallel to the ground at ride height, and use a good quality heim with cone washers.

just one heim joint? or one at each end of the bar?..

One at each end.

if you dont' have one on each end, it will bind, esp cause its a 2 link.

I just bought the Panhard bar and parallel four link from Suicide Doors. The panhard came with one polyurethane joint and then one heim joint. Hmmm...

i used to have a panhard shifted the truck too much all the way down went with watts link.

thats b/c with the parallel 4-link the axle wont move fore and aft very much. regardless with a 2link the axle will move quite a bit.
