A/C Problems

any of you guys with 95-99 old body duallys or just any chevy gmc ck pickup feel that the a/c sucks a** and does not blow good at all... i just changed my compressor and dryer today... gotta take it back in the mornin cause it still not blowin very good... ne one had this problem and gotta fix or ne known problems with these trucks.

Not blowing cold or not blowing hard?

If its not blowing hard enough try putting another blower in it they sometimes get gummed up with trash and such.

DID THEY PUT A NEW ORIFICE TUBE IN? DOES IT NOT BLOW THAT COLD AT ALL? OR JUST AT IDLE, AND COOLS OFF WHEN RUNNING. I JUST GOT DONE SINKING WAY TO MUCH MONEY INTO MY SUBURBAN TO GET MY A/C WORKING. COMPRESSOR, EVAP, CONDENSOR, HOES, LINES, DRYER.....LITERALLY ALL NEW SHEET.

well i just changed the compressor and dryer..also the blower.... one of my friends was showing me that since the fan shroud was missing that air was escaping through a gap between the core support and radiator..... he had similar problems with another truck when he removed the fan shroud.... he covered up that gap with some rubber molding he had and the a/c started blowing much colder....
