That'd you'd have to take up with Uncle Luke. He just put me in charge of sales about a month ago. I've been working on the motivation part for a while of keeping him going and letting me know of favors he's promised yet not delivered. I apologize for the delay, Luke's sent me your address, and I'll be getting a shirt sent out to you most likely tomorrow.

We set it up that way for 2 main reasons:
Pornographic material (legally, there has to be some sort of age verification process). I can't control if someone puts an incorrect birthday in. However, I can require that birthdates be mandatory in profiles.
And logging, essentially for usage stats. This way I get a complete rundown not only from my webhost of the usage stats broken down into hours of the day even, but I can get an idea of registration stats, keep an eye on how the database is functioning, keep track of users who make clothing purchases, what browsers the users are using, all sorts of fun stuff. Its not an issue of privacy, just tools to keep the site functioning top-notch.
