Rim question

Is there anyway you could get a set of 19.5" extended to 20"? I want to build a dually but there are limited tire choices for 19" and 19.5" but there are a whole lot of truck rated 20" tire sizes. I dont have the kind of money to dump on some milled down semis and tires so I thought a 20" dually rim would be an easy fix for my problem.

nope... but thats just part of ownin a dually . your reason is the same reason everyone doesnt own one.. and we prefer to keep it that way. everything is more expensive for our truck (especailly gas).. but as far as tire sized for 19,s there are only a few that you would want to run and they definately make them... good luck with the future dually project

Yeah, you know, you probably don't have to introduce yourself or anything. Thats alright. It's not like we have an area where new members can say "Hi, my name is so-and-so, this is what I drive, etc...". This is, in fact, the only dually site where all the members are psycic, so theres no need for that kind of courtesy. So just jump in and start asking for all kinds of free info. We don't mind. Honest.

Actually if you look closer there are plenty of 19'' tires out there, almost any aftermarket import tires are 19s.

Don't buy hankooks. I had a set on my dually and the rears got messed up bad. I drove it like 900 miles to Nashville and by the time I got there there wasn't any tread left. The fronts had no problems though. They were kinda screwed up when I bought them so I didn't expect alot out of them either.

Fine, my name is Bryce, I drive an 05 dodge ram 1500 swb hemi stripper, 93 ford bronco, and an 89 k5 blazer. I dont have a dually yet but I am planning on building either a bagged 89-91 box style crew cab dually or a bagged94-2k dodge excab dually. I am also thinkin about building a lifted dually but nobody talks about lifting em here. I come on here a lot but dont talk. Hey lock can I get a better pic of that dually on 20s it is pretty small and I cant even tell what the rims look like. Who makes them?

That is as big as the hotlink would let me make it. They are 180 spoke wires made by Luxor and the only place I have seen them for sale is EBay. My spoke distributor has never seen them. What is you email and I will send you a big one if you want to see some more pics. Better yet I started a thread a few months ago that had them in it if you could find it.
