someone please explain "half-moon" technique...

and i run .9mm wire...NO GAS (just have a lincol 110 Pro mig) is there a better wire i could run?

if you are using flux core wire you will never get welds that good.

ok..they mngiht not be "that good" as u say..but im 19 years old ballin on a budget kinda deal haha..and flux cored is what i need to use..so therefore..tips on gettin em better are apreciated..tellin me things i obviously know..fuck off..

Dude Corey you seem to have the wrong attitude about people telling you things. No offense, but you seem to take things to seriously.

But the half moon technique, is basically running your wire in the shape of a "U," or a "C." You sweep the wire to one side, pause, and sweep to the other side. But instead of going straight across, you make a slight arc when transferring the wire from side to side. Thats about the best I can explain it.

I do circles rather than half moons. Don'thave any pics of my welds and I'm at college so can't get pics easily

yall are swirling to far apart, swirl closer but stretch the weld more, itll come out flatter and smoother like this.
