i have a few pits in my wheels from grinding and welding too close to them i guess. how do i go about getting them out? i have the powerball but havnt tried it yet ... or should i do a claybar on them? i know that works awesome on paint but i dont know how bad it will scratch up the wheels or if the spray will have any sort of bad affect on the billet. anyone?

I have chrome steel wheels, and they had some minor rust from sitting for 4 years. When I cleaned up the whitewalls, the Bleche White I used also ate up the rust on the wheels!
I don't know if it'll work on your rims, but this stuff is SERIOUS! I etched my fingernails using it without gloves!!!
Good luck!

use the steal wool to get the pits out and then go back and polish the shit out of them

Steel wool them, then go to Home Depot and get a polishing buff(wheel) and some of the copounds for buffing metal. They have different coarsness to each color of compound. I use theese to polish raw alluminum to a highly polished surface. It would take those rust spots right off.

its going to take some time and some elbo crease but you can make them look brand new.
