can you slam a 4x4?

Is it possible to lay frame on a 4x4? Is that a stupid idea?

There's too many clean 2wd trucks out there to start fooling with that jive.

Unless you have a 4X already. If thats the case, I would buy a front clip and driveshaft off a 2wd from a salvage yard and swap it with your 4X stuff. 86 the transfer case and swap in the drive shaft.

OK, I will take that off the list. I figured if I was out 4 wheeling with my enclosed trailer, it might be nice to have the 4x4. But I would rather have that bitch slammed and bagged so I will x-off the 4x4 option.
