ok my lincoln 220 took a shit on me yesterday. it wont weld as soon as u start to weld it just burns up into the tip what causes this problem??

Wire speed? Check your rollers to make sure they are pushing the wire at the correct speed and not slipping.

it pushes fine cuz when i'm not welding it pushes out fast and smooth

is slag shorting the tip out onto the sleeve? Ive had that happen.

no i checked that and even replaced the tip

im assumin you cleaned out hte nozzle really good, sounds like your gun has a short in it.

try the gas defuser, i had the same problem one time and thats what it was
