was wanting to know if i put a flip kit on a 81 c10 would i have to shorten the drive shaft any? thanks

shouldnt have to, I just got done putting a flip kit on mine and pulled a couple leafs and already had drop shackels.. no problems

My dads truck (76 C-10) is lowered 9" in the rear...no drive shaft modification and no problems.

well see i put drop hangers and shackles on and had to short the drive shaft sorry i didnt mention that before

i got a home made flip kit on my 78 lwb and its a btch to get teh drive shaft out but i also have 10 leafs under it so i can tow

I did, my axle was about 1/2in from the frame time i got done moving shit around.

flipped my burbans withno mods with all the leafs though but no sweat otherwise
