JEFFERSON COUNTY - MTV reality star Don Vito, or Vincent Margera, appeared in court Monday and posted bond that night.
Margera appeared in a Jefferson County courtroom to be advised of the investigation that accuses him of sexually assaulting a child.
Margera was arrested Friday night after a signing event at the Denver Woodward Skate Park in Lakewood. Margera was held without bond through the weekend. During his court appearance his bond was set at $50,000.
He is accused of groping a 14-year-old girl after the autograph signing.
He posted bond around 10 p.m. Monday.
Bam Margera, Vincent Margera's nephew, made him famous on his show Viva La Bam. The MTV reality show followed the life and practical jokes of Bam and his friends and family.
Margera has also appeared on MTV's Jackass and various movies and commercials.
Margera was in Denver shooting a show for the ManiaTV. Drew Massey, CEO of ManiaTV, said, "We appreciate what he did for us. We really have a lot of respect for Bam and his crew. If this alleged event took place, it's very unfortunate and our hearts go out to both sides of this thing."
As a condition of his bond Margera was ordered not to posses any alcohol, drugs, weapons and is not permitted to contact the victim. Additionally, he cannot leave the state of Colorado.
Margera said he will cooperate anyway he can.
