Yup, staged.
1. What dumb-ass drives down a deserted, dirt road while being followed, then pulls over? Why not just stop on the side of the busy road? At least you have witnesses.
2. When he finally pulls his gun, you can tell he has no clue what he's doing and has no intention of shooting anybody based on the way he's holding his weapon. One handed? C'mon tough guy, get real.
On another note, assuming that guy is permitted, he would know that you only pull your weapon if you have the intention of killing somebody. An aluminum baseball bat would be considered a deadly weapon in this situation. Especially since it's being videotaped. Plenty of recorded intent for the court. So that guy had every right to drill that toothless hick. (I would have. Yes, I carry. And yes, I have a license to do so.)
3. You don't pull your weapon and play "cops". You try to de-fuse the situation verbally, and if that fails AND your life (or your family) is in danger, negotiations stop, you draw your weapon, attempt once more to de-fuse the situation verbally, then, if that fails, you fire two shots into their chest, and re-asess the situation.
4. The passenger in the truck just "happened" to have a video camera?
5. The guy in the BMW had a gun, but no phone to call the police?
4. Like Russ said, the chick would be FREAKING OUT!!!
But what do I know?

Any real girl being terrorized by two guys in a truck would have been screaming, either in fear or at the guy driving (married guys know what I am talking about) So it gets my "100% staged" seal.
But super funny.
I second that. If that were me in that BMW, I would be the guy with the wife wiggin out and beatin the crap outa me. I can hear it now, "Flipping those guys off caused it to get worse, now take me home now so I can beat your ass!"
LOLI have a few handguns and would love to carry but the wife wouldnt allow it, for these such occasions.
