turbo Dakota

im plannin on swappin in a turbo eclipse motor into my 91 dakota.....ive seen people put them in might max'sand been rwd but my question is what tranny will bolt to that motor and be rwd?

You can put a 2.2 or 2.5 turbo motor in your truck. You will need to make a new turbo manifold and intake. The wiring needs to me modified also. Search Turbododge.com There are a few post with all the parts you need. I've never seen a 4G63 morot in a Dakota before. you need the Mighty Max tranny, Conquest, Starion or i think a Supra transmisson of that era will work.

the 2.6l turbo is the starion motor, if it were me tho i would be looking at a turbo disel.

Ok when you swap the 4g63 motor into a d-50/MMM you use the 2.0 trans in the truck.

How about an SRT4 swap? you'll need the motor, wiring harness, computer, intercooler, 2000+ Jeep Liberty 2.4 bellhouseing and an AX15 tranny. But those come in all kinda of cars and trucks so that'll be easy to find.
