does anyone know if the tranny xmember for the 2.2 5speed is the same as the xmember for the 4.3 w/ the 4L60E tranny? On a 2000 std. cab S10.

just so everyone knows...the 5speed xmember does work for the 4L60E auto tranny...you just have to notch out a little bit for the trans bushing and it fits perfect...also the 5 speed driveshaft is the same for the auto tranny as well....

lucky!! i had to have a new shaft made when i swapped trannys in my fullsize....

I know man...I even had james bring one w/ him when he came up last night...I had never tried mine...jsut assuming it wouldnt work...we tried it and it worked perfect!
