Spindles and a 3" z should get you there.

i read that a 4 in Z is needed and cut 2.5" off the bottom of the frame under the cab. and then you have to redo the floor to clear the trans since it will be raised up so much... anybody know for sure?

that frame is cool, but i am not about to drop serious money into a truck i picked up for $200!
Im thinking of doing a real old school body drop i think they call it channeling? where you just cut the floor for the frame to come up and redo the floor. Im going really old school with the whole truck, no big rims, 15" smoothies with baby moon hubcaps, flat green paint

ive been doing some research for my 84 and i found out to lay pinch weld, most guys are doin a 3" z, 3" drop spindles, no lower cups mounts in the front, and putting 2x4 in the frame and cutting 2" off of the bottom.

I forgot about the frame. That is a must. We did spindles and a 3"z w/ 2x4 under the cab to lay rocker. Then we did a 3" body drop and ditched the rockers with 23's all the way around.
