i agree i would rather pay more and get fewer ads from aim that run like 10 pages, pick up a truckin which is only 6 and compare the amount of actual coverage to tailgate, there similar but tailgate has better quality stuff and isnt much more. it would be nice if mt had less aim ads and shit but it would definately cost more, plus a mid and fullsize feature here or there would be cool because i like the articles in mt better then street trucks or sport truck.

i like tailgate. no ads, hot chicks, mad features, and good show coverage. i dont mind payin 8bux every 2 months.

its the same amount of content as 2 issues of other mags (not knocking those).

man i hope i don't ruffle any feathers sayying this but who picks the features in tailgate anyways cause i've seen some pretty shitty trucks get features in there. but i do like the all color basically no ads. and there is still good coverage and good features just some of them i'm like are you serious.

Exactly.

I don't personally read Tailgate but I bet there is more to it than just the ads. Ad revenue is such a huge part of the magazine that I doubt the cover price is making up for it. It costs a lot to publish a mag, and while I'm sure Tailgate is a quality rag, they've got to be cutting corners somewhere else to makeup for the lack of ads.
