Need help planning small local show (ideas, experience, etc)

a small 1 day show for charitylive bands playing all dayProlly on a Sunday

I need help with what classes to have.Lowriders, imports, minitrucks, etc

also anyone have some experience on some of the major things that would need taken care of?

any help would be appreciated

Heres my take on a local show that you say is pretty small....

CARS:
1900-1954 Stock & Modified

this area is mainly imports, lowriders show strong if u advertise right... and i can get 30 or so bagged trucks out

we are going to try and get the hot rod clubs to join as well.

was kinda thinking a theme where we are trying to get all the different types of groups (imports, hot rods, lowriders, minitruckers, etc) to join together for a good show, fun, and all for a good cause

Yeah if you wanna keep the costs down (to get the charity more money) you could do some plaques and do like Top 25 or however many (depends on how many you expect to show) then like your Best of's.



Or even do Top 20 Pre-72 & Top 20 73& up or something.

I like that Idea

maybe a top 20 gets plaques
top 3 get a Jacket or a somewhat big trophy
and BOS gets a nice big trophy... or something home made but done nicely

Oh and you mentioned live bands i like that idea alot. But remember not to cater to one crowds type of music if you want it to be an all types show (i.e. Imports, Hot Rods, Trucks, etc)

try and get some printing shop to donate or for a very low price make up some show posters for some of the local hang outs or speed shops and hand them out at other shows any show you go to around here you can get 10-30 fliers for different car shows in and around my town plus you can get a feel for what classes you need to make up
