ok so For future planning i want to doa 350 in my S-10...what all do i need to buy to do this swap?? right now i have the 2.2L 4 cylinder with manual transmission..i would also like to swap out for an automatic tranny too...

motor , tranny new painless wire harness to make things easier , motor mounts , make your new crossmembers , beef up the rear end

Im doing my swap right now, i had a 2.2l 4cyl, and im swaping in a SBC 350, carburated.
I picked up alot of the stuff i needed from www.v8s10.com
Im also doing a full frame build so i changed all my x-members and what not, but you may not need to with a turbo 350 tranny.

ditto what taylor said, also you may not need a wiring harness if you go carbed, just hardwire the gauges to the motor.
