Need Help

I need to kno how to adjust the sensetivity of a stellar alarm system to make it more sensetive. anyone kno?

on any alarm system i've seen they have a little black box that sorta looks like a relay and has a knob on it that you can twist to adjust the sensetivity.

yeah that is also what i thought i have that box but there is no place to adjust it from there so thats whats got me confused...
