drag blocks...

call me a pussy, i want to use drag blocks because:
1. I have a lot of 1 5/8" titanium laying around from buying it a couple of years ago when i finally got bagged, then a tree decided to fall on my truck and render it ugly and undriveable for a couple years.
2. I'm not a rich man, and i've had to buy my stuff a little at a time, get a lot of it together, and try to put it all in at the same time. I've spent too much time, money, blood, sweat, tears, and curse words to drag the frame in half and leave my bed on the middle of the interstate somewhere (or something just as vital but more plauseable).
3. I can't think of the other reason right now cause i'm tired as hell, but do your own thing. Not a damn thing wrong with not laying frame if you don't want to. I used to laugh at a friend's blazer that sit on bumpstops because he had some ground effects molded in, then he won multiple trophies at some big ass shows, and was featured in mini truckin and street trucks. Also, i realized after going to my first show that i was'nt going to be building a show winning s10, cause you can't go to any show and throw a rock without hitting 6 bagged s10's, and three of those are bodydropped. Once i started building it like i like it, instead of what i thought others would like, made my life much easier. Do it for you, dude.

ok...i have 1/4" plates of steel that are as wide as my frame rail and about a foot long that is welded to my frame and i've drug on that damn thing for EVER. i did a drag session for lowlife and drug my shit for like 3 miles and i still have a bit left. an 1 would probably outlast your truck. lol

If you don't have a truck, you have no room to talk. If you realize how damaging it is to drag frame, you'd put blocks on too. Not using blocks is stupid, if it's your daily.

I've sold hundreds of Ti. block sets and never heard of any problem,if there mounted correctly. 3/8 grade 8 bolts are way strong enough to hold blocks. I hit an expansion joint dragging at 70,with my 4000 pound wagon, and they didn't move. Just make sure the block is directly under your frame. I could probably make you a smaller set to fit under your ford.
