Kids don't fear death like adults do, they don't stress as much, or understand the gravity of certain situations. Every doctor or nurse i've talked to says that works 100% in thier favor, cause they just know they are sick, and that they will get fixed, so thier spirits are allways up. Please just keep faith in the doctors, and read as much as you possibly can, so you can understand what's going on with him. Knowledge will numb the fear, but i can't tell you it will make the fear go away, but it will help.

I've spent the last three and half weeks of my life at stanford hospital cancer center in california with someone extremely close to me who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia six weeks ago. They have made it through the first round of chemo with no ill effects other than pain. And they are healthy, and will make it.

I've met you whiz at reso this year, and at greenville with james from your norcal chapter, and all i can say is people beat cancer everyday, you have to stay positive, and do everything the doctors tell you. And be strong for your son. Feel free to shoot me a message on here if you need to vent bro, cause i know it's a hard thing to deal with, i'm going through it too.

stay strong whiz

I guess I owe everone an update, He started chemo last week. He did get sick the first day, with the max amount of chemo he would get. The next few days with the reduced amount he did great with. Now I have another issue to fight with. Recieved a letter from the insurance company saying his hospital stay wasn't justifed by the hospitals report (WTF?) Hahaha, anyway so I have to appeal it and start fighting that battle.

Thanks to all of my fellow mini truckers for keeping this in their hearts and minds it means the world to me. God bless all of you.
