Very, very good issue guys. It'll have to ride around in the chip truck with me now for those long waits.

Okay..I guess I should've added this to my last post. I understand that this hobby is based upon each person's opinions and tastes but I do have to say that Chad's editorial hit the nail on the head. I've been in the same mindset that he was in with his Pathfinder and came to the same conclusion that he did. There is nothing worse than realizing you have a pile of parts and a ton of ideas that may never come to fruition b/c you never want to settle. The ideas he presented are ones that I've thought about many times. How much lower than the ground can you or should you go??? I can't say that I would take offense to his use of a photo of your truck in his article IF "YOU" are truly happy with what you have created.

what chad said needed to be said. and when he used the pic of your truck it wasnt to talk shit on it it was just an example of a rediculously low truck. i think stupid low trucks are sweet but not as somthing thats gonna get driven. like the nissan is a freakin sweet pile of shit to laugh at how low it is and maybe drive around a show just to see what looks you can get but if i ever saw some one driving something like that seriously id question his/her sanity.your truck is really low but not laying window like that nissan that shit is just a joke.

i agree with what yall have said and sometimes i even think my truck is too low, but then i come to my sences and say its not. i just dont think my truck fits the description that was talked about in the article. as soon as i rebuild my motor, my truck WILL be a driver, not a daily, but it will be driven weekly. i went to alot of trouble to keep things like stock heat and do a partial SFBD to keep enough head room. all im sayin is its not just a pile of junk built to be the lowest.

I dont think he was referring to your truck as a pile of crap to be built the lowest, I just think he was trying to imply and show examples of stuff done to the extreme and make a point of saying that people try to spend so much time trying to be extreme, that sometimes we go over board with it. A prime example is with his truck, he was building it to win best ofs at every show but with so much time and effort going to get it to that level, whats wrong with settling for just a bad ass mini??!! (but at the same time, chads truck is simply bad ass no matter what!)

yo.

i did the cover and poster, we took a night photo for the background and i had to put in a daytime photo of the truck in both the cover and poster. hope everyone notices the detail. and ya that blazer rendering is something i had in hiding. and the air zenith rendering is in there too, but its not the final colors, so be on the look out.

the coverage from australia in this issue is cool. cause there is a lot of trucks ive never seen before.

we just finished the november issue. just as cool.

Nick on the cover is there a truck draggin away in the background?

all I got to say is Chad Lucas' editorial....definately a good one! Im not saying what it says because some of you have not got your issue yet....but its great...covers a touchy topic.

anybody see my mazda in Chad's editorial? i dont see how he could compair my truck to any of those other trucks. although i agree with some of what he said, i disagree with alot more. he dosent know me or anything about my truck or the plans i have for it, he's never even seen it, they ripped the picture off of this web site. what does everyone else think about it?Well my 2 cents...yes you put alot of work in your truck. IN MY OPINION it looks like ass. You cut off some sweet ass body lines that mazdas are notorious for! Then the front end, with the wheels sticking through and the motor sticking damn near clear above the fenders....just ruined it! But its like Chad said "opinions are like billet grilles...everyone has one". You shouldnt take offence to anyones opinions, it was built FOR YOU right? Some people love my truck, some hate it. I really dont care because it turned out EXACTLY how I dreamt it would (yes interiorless lol)

You should be thrilled it is in Mini Truckin, that is probably one of every mini truckers dreams....besides freaky orgies with porn chicks.
