battery in bed?

Im considering moving my battery in my bed on my ranger. Actually I want to put it close to my fuel cell. Is it ok to have it near the gas tank or no?

I wouldn't put it in a battery box, if putting it in bed by fuel cell, or best place would be to build a tray on framerail.
