I own a hobart mig took a welding took a class which all they used were miller migs and messed around on a lincoln and I liked the lincoln the best. I just started a new job welding so I dont know everything but I know enough to pass a welding test. The best advice I can give is stay with these 3 brands and you will be alright. FYI-Hobart is made by miller!

Miller Deltaweld 452. Great for welding bulldozer frames together. And still does sheetmetal. You'll want to call home to mom about this one.
