door popper soleniods

ok i have a ?. i jus ordered my solenoids for my poppers, and ihave one problem, how tha fuck do i wire them up lol. someone please help me

One pin on the solenoid is a ground, the other goes to the 87 pin on your relay....At least thats how mine was ran....

where would i mount a relay?

i went to godfathercustoms.com and they show u how to wire all that stuff or even FBI i believe has diagrams. the placement of everything from soleniod to relay will vary depending on the truck.

anywhere u have room too, they dont need to be in any specific spot

then i would ground tha solenoid, run my pos. to tha 87 prong, then which one from tha bat to tha relay, then to a switch?

The "30" on the relay is usually the output- 87 is the source, and 85 and 86 are the trigger/ trigger source. Go to www.fbirides.com, and at the bottom left of the page is "Installation Guides". There's a pdf file for several different wiring configurations.
The key when hooking the relay to your remote unit is knowing whether the output of the brain is positive or negative. Make sure of this before you hook it all up!
