charcoal canister?

i capped mine of but then i could only put like three ounces of gas at a time so i uncapped it and the tank fills fine now, so if u go to put gas in the tank and it acts like the tank is full just uncap it so vapors can escape the tank

Or just make a vent line that comes up above the tank, and then drops down.

i was told i could just put one of those little cone air filters on it. will that work?

I dont see why not. Like a valve cover breather?

yeah, put the filter on it, its what i do. that way it still lets teh vapers out, which is its purpose.. the vapors hit the charcol and helps emissions..

It depends on the vehicle your building. I have an S10 and I removed mine. My check engine light came on and hasn't gone off yet, its been over 6 months. But you can just cap it or use a filter, it just depends on how much fuel pressure your pump is putting out. Mine is over 60 psi so I had to cap mine off and couldn't use a filter cause all the pressure would just go straight out the filter. So just try it and see.

have you tried putting a filter on it? that line is only for fumes. no actual fluid comes out it.

anybody got a pic of one for i guess an 98 & up s10 cuz i wanna make sure i just removed the right thing.ive got bad enough luck as it is i dont wanna fuck anything else up! lol

mine looked like a square/rectangle black box. does that sound right?
