its not hard at all or risky if you do it right. label and number each wire BEFORE you cut them. And for the neatest and most secure connection, please use solder and heat shrink!!! its a few extraminutes of time now that might keep you from trouble-shooting your headlights, ignition, and or windshield wipers on a dark, rainy, stormy night

Like everyone else said take your time and do it right the first time and you will be fine. I relocated everything off the fenders in my dakota and moved the harness that ran across the core support under the wiper cowl. It was long and tedious but well worth it in my opinion.

i know everyone has answered already but i didnt read them all so im guna give my two cents. i would deffinatly soilder and shrink wrap them for sure...and kinda all in different spots too... if you do them all at the same length then when you go to put them back in wire loom or whatever you will realize that it quadrupled in size.. i hope that made sense. and yea.. deffinatly do them one wire at a time and also make sure you extend it with the right size wire... it has to be atleast the same size as the wire your extending.. not all those wires are the same length either so check it out and go buy some different sizes of wire for sure. other than that... take your time and youshould be fine... i extended my wire 14 inches... came out awesome... deffinatly dont use butt conectors though... way to bulky and tend to come undone sometimes.
