famous truck names

This is a crazy picutre full of history, that older toy I can't remember if it had a name or any of them but that Ford dually was owned by Rob Maggi that later built Krew Kut and that limo Mazda was that white mazda in the cars with the boom video, it had gull wing doors.

Well this was my friend Ruben Arteaga's white Toyota he built after the pink extra cab... it was on the cover of MT also. I got to hand it to Ruben for always building some very clean trucks worthy of magazine coverage.

the old school yota was called TOXIC TOY, I have it as a tattoo along with my old 93 toyota (which I never named) together with old man reso beind them since it was those 2 trucks that showed at reso 94 under the club name NEGATIVE CAMBER (first show under that logo)

My 84 toyota that I have now is called AFTERNOON DELIGHT ... thats what I call the sweat beads that roll down into my ass crack since I drive it daily with no a/c here in Phoenix ...

but watch out for the MALICIOUS

that is a 85 mazda B2200 - vortec 350-700R4, full rollcage, full stock car road race suspension, 15x8's sticky outties, flared fenders, chevy 10 bolt rear end, completely gutted and made just to go fast and she wont be pretty

Thanks for that info Booger, I was looking for an issue of Auto sound & Security it (Toxic Toy)was fueatured in... I remember that MT followed along for the build up. So there is alot of history to that truck and that was it, kinda hoped someone from NC would remember.

LOL , I got to go to that AS&S photo shoot for toxic toy and remember how shitty that truck rode and riding on a busted seat (that I broke by accident) from escondido to irvine and the photographer asking the model to remove her undergarments cause her panty line was showing ... then we got the beaver shot when she sat in the truck ... THAT WAS A GOOD DAY ... LOL

I think MT should get a bunch of Old School guys together (ie Juan, Booger, Ruben, Courtney & many more) & do a history of type issue w/ stories & pix...... That would be the best selling issue of ALL TIME.............Mike if you're reading this listen to me I know what I'm talking about ;) .......

I would LOVE to be there just to sit back & listen .....

I still laugh when I think of the BS session that happened at the RA show this past year, I believe it was Juan ,Ruben , Courtney ,Mike A ,Chad Lucas, Sean & a few others....talking about old trucks,old days, looking thru Juans photos & I was naming models on the cover w/ the trucks Courtney looked at me & said "Damn what are you a stalker or something" it was damn funny maybe you had to be there .....LOL

That nite was worth the whole trip
