we make custom lights...you are right..its prismatic with a red plastic over it...

the coolest taillights i saw were on an s10 (or ranger, maybe, i've had a few beers since then) at Greenville around 2002. It was blue with white flames that wrapped around the tailgate, and somehow the taillights were in the flames, you could'nt see them until he hit his brakes, and you could'nt tell there were lights underneath or anything, no points of light. It was badass.
