ok i pulled this picture from the new feature in ssm mag. What is the open space for in the door jam? I'm not hating either by the way for i'm just curious

Its where the firewall is tubbed. And they didnt fill in the backside of the fender. Just prefernce I guess.

Looks like they suicided the door without shaving the gap between the fender and cab after they cut out the OEM front wheel wells. (My doors aint suicided but the gap helps me know how straight my wheels are when i lay out the front of my truck) nice truck by the way
