needin some help

so i went on lunch today from work and came back and layed my truck out....i sat in it runnin 4 about a min then got out 2 go back in2 work......i 4got my phone so i went back out 2 get it and when i opened the doors i smelled burnt wires....i started the truck back up n looked around n didnt see smoke or anything but when i went 2 check the switch wires the switch 4 the back was stuck down.....then it clicked back 2 neutral(sp) when i touched it.....so i figured the wire got pretty hot from it sticking down and sending constant power but when my truck was back runnin after i smelled the burnt wires....my amp wouldnt turn on.....the headunit still worked fine but not the amp.....so...i dunno...any ideas?

Check the fuse inside the amp?

yea...i did....both were good...and the fuse from the battery was 2.....so i dunno im lost....
