wd-40 on a spare peace of tweed with the good sides rubbing together. works great
WE where talking about this today (trippie) and way PINE-sol work's kick azz.And it works good on cleaning seatbelts also.
you could try this stuff called "goof off" i dont know what your cleaning off but when i had my door panels done up in cloth there was a glue residue on the edge of the panel...stuff took it right off and didnt harm the cloth at all. it should work on tweed. if you get some, i would read the bottle to make sure.
It's just dirty...plain and simple. It's gray tweed that has been in there for a while and the dash and floor is filthy. Needs a good cleaning but wasn't sure what to use. I want to try to clean it up as much as possible before having to replace it as an option. Someone told me mineral spirits.
When my tweed get full of dust/dirt whatever just blow it out with air. Hook up a high pressure duster to your or a buddies compressure in the garage and go at it.

Citrus cleaner! We buy a brand, sorry can't remember the name, that is made for boats. It works awesome on leather as well and leave your vehicle smelling great.
The brand I use is 3M...don't know why I couldn't remember that.
