when u prime dont leave an edge like that, when u paint it might come back, fan the gun out on the edges, there sould only be very little over spray on the paper

roll the paper back on the edge of the tape. dont prime all the way to the paper/tape. tape out about 3 inches from the repaired area. ahve fun and good luck

called back tapin. put the paper on opposite then fold it back over were u want it to go, itll leave less of an edge looks good tho.

Whats wrong with rattle can primering? I primered my whole cruck in rattle can. Turned out pretty good too.

nothing, we use it at work when we need to prime just a tiny spot tho.

Well, I was strapped for cash, and this thing is Tiny. Just temp though... When V.I.P. Motorsports over in Chandler get's their paint booth up and operational I'm taking it down to metal Fixing and filling some things and getting a real coat of primer. Lol

well no i didn't use rattle can primer..i did on the small area just a self-etching primer befor i spread my bondo. just a lite coat to cover the bare metal.

I am probably going to sand it back down, and feather out the primer, or wait until I get all the bodywork done and primer the whole thing with a good even coat..
