A Mount Washington man was killed and another man was injured in a head-on collision on Bardstown Road about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

James F. Browne, 26, was killed when his Chevrolet pickup truck was struck by a Saturn that was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Bardstown Road just south of Thixton Lane.

Browne died at the scene of multiple blunt force injuries about 11:53 p.m. The driver of the Saturn was taken to University Hospital.

THIS BULLSHIT IS WHAT I HATE ABOUT THE MEDIA, WHY NOT TELL THE ASSWIPES NAME THAT WAS DRIVING THE WRONG WAY?????? It kills me to hear about things like this, we are such a small group compaired to other "scenes" and look at how often we hear about people in our scene getting hurt in accidents. I know this wasn't his fault and probably nothing he could have done to avoid it but guys, please drive safe! This could have been anyone of us. My thoughts are with his family and friends, the loss of a loved one is by far the hardest thing anyone can go through. I incourage all of you close to where he lived to attend the furneral, out of respect for him and trust me it is a good feeling in a bad time to see a line at the door because the chappel can't hold everyone wanting to pay their respects.
