1.)you will NEED to weld in the buckets for the caddys there is no way around that.
2.) the bondo wing was a joke
3.)you will never be fast enough with a blazer to need any downforce.
4.) unless your windtunnel tested your wing or any wing for that matter is useless.

i know you didnt con on here to hear shit talked about your truck so ill try not to but with the wing and the fender lights all it needs is some ground effects and white tunner wheels and it would be the same as having a RICER minus the coffee cans sticking out the back not to but you or your truck down but that is the look im seeing with your ride but hey its yours do it the way you want.

this is gunna make me sound like a prick but this thread makes me wanna blow my brains out! fatboys1O. son of a bitch just do something, take the wing off or get a new one or dont have one at all! just do something!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Big Joe (Low_SST) You know something your talking to me like I don't know anything. I used to have a blazer that had a v8 with enough power to out run that dodge you have in your pic. Now with the right setup I'll have a fast truck so back off. For one thing. I bet you didn't know the best thing is not bolt on but where you make it your self. And just because you have over 3000 post that don't make you special. I've built 4 blazers over the last few years. But due to asswholes for land lords I had to get rid of a couple. Everything I do is outside I don't have a shop hell I don't have friends that do either. And I don't have tools to do alot either. Hell all I've done is work till last year and this is the most I've been able to work on my ride. My truck will not look like everyone elses. I will not be following the crowd like some people do and I will be doing what I want not what you want. It's not your ride. I didn't ask for all of this I just wanted to understand more about the differences in the ricer stuff and the miniz. I never wanted a ricer look but got it from trying to make my shit match. I was going with a sporty look not a ricer look. If I could do other stuff now I would but it still takes money and after paying the bills and buying food and taking care of my wife and 5 kids I'm lucky to have any money left for gas. So all day long I sit here on the net trying to come up with things to do and all I get is an attitude from some people. Most people have more money then I do and hell I'm still going back and forth to the dr in bham. So I just tried to do a low budget ride that at least looked decent and not trashed. I don't mean to vent but when a attitude is dropped I'm it tends to push me that way. Some people want to be rude so I can be rude back. Hell I didn't even ask for the opinons on my truck I asked for the difference in the miniz and ricers.

Something makes me think that spelling owns you, but we're not going to go there. What you will find on this site is a lot of hardcore minitruckers who are born and raised on layed out, shaved up, door draggin vehicles....without wings. Sure you might have or are going to have a V8 in the Blazer, but there is no way to make your spoiler relevant to performance on it. It's for aesthetics (looks) only, no two ways around it. The best thing to do is: A) either ignore every other post in this thread and go on about your happy, kid filled life B) Suck it up and take the wing off, or C) go to cardomain where Blazers like the one you have are all the rage. Not any attitude here, just facts....

You know what you might be right. But I just thought I'd let a few know that I know what I will have to do to put in caddy's, a suicide hood and even sucicide doors but just need the parts. I already know about the buckets, the roll pan, the tail light fillers, the buick hood hinge to do the suicide hood with. I already have a few parts including the caddy's I paid 13.00 bucks for with chrome bezels, light sockets, and bulbs, heck they evne came with the fiber optic sensor they have in them. I'm on a few other sites and have been for a few years. And I'm even on car domain. But all this was supposed to be about was the differences. I have really been around on here and thought maybe I could find out without attitude. I've been around miniz since I was 15 and now I'm 32 so I do know alot about it. Heck I've drop all of my own rides and due to chemo a friend came over from another site and state and helped me drop my wifes blazer. I'm gonna be relocating my gas door to behind my tag where I already have a flip down kit off a 16 cutlas. I'm cutting up some car panels here at my house for the metal to fill things in so I don't have to pay for that stuff. But untill I get a welder it runs 30 bucks an hour for a guy that has is own shop where he builds 4x4's out of anything on wheels. I just don't want someone to think I don't know shit. I just want to see what the world had to say about the differences not the opinons on my ride. It was just to be an example. This is the look I really wanted but the spoiler is the hard part.

i'll throw out my 2 cents. and i already know my spelling sucks. personaly i don't like wings on anything. even if it came factory on a car. it's one of those things that kinda ruins how clean the car/truck is. if you really want something up there why not put a full sliding ragtop or i know blazers that body style come factory with a rear window hindge that has some what of a wing on it. every one i know gets rid of those kinda hindges so i'm sure you could pick up a set no problem. or even make little billet rails for the top kinda like the yellow hackalac tahoe. that's just my 2 cents. but really if you are out there to build a truck you shouldn't care what other people think. your not building the truck for them to drive. your building it for your self. anyways hope that helps.

not trying to cause shit but most of use here are broke as fuck minitruckers, we dont bolt shit on for the most part and we fab shit up. I never claimed my truck was fast or that your v8 wouldnt be but that even with a v8 in your truck and 900 horse it wont go fast enough to take advantage of the downforce created by any apc wing. doing fab work outside is also nothing new to me, i was welding on my truck in the snow this december in ma outside because there was no power inmy garage for my welder yet. you are saying you wanna be different but you can see blazers like that all the time on cardomain just search it. its not original especially with a s10 or anything based off of it suv or truck its all been done 10x over.And that orange blazer was cool...in 92.

Well where I live at there isn't any one out here with one. I'm the only one in my area like this right now. No offense I'm just as broke as you guys are. That's why the primer was buy spray can and it tooks me 3 or 4 months to do it. I don't have a problem with working outside but there is a difference in your outside and mine. You can work in front of your shop and with all the pasture at my house I don't have any shade or way to block the wind good enough to do the work. I took off my factory spoiler cause my stereo made it rattle too much and I ended up putting bolts in it to replace the screws with. I don't care about the down force. I know it would never do any good. I wanted something on there to make it stand out besides a rag top that I can't afford. I just wanted it to be noticed and look different. I'm not saying your rides don't look good because they do. But I want to get it noticed not just looked at cause it's as clean as the rest of them. After this I'm down to 1 post for the month.
