solniod melted

I have two thomas 337 compressors, I'm running the 80 amp solniod from FBI. It melted plastic around the post and it fell out. I ran everything like FBI said. Except for the ingition, I ran it to the fuse box with 50 amp circuit breaker. They said they thought the compressor were getting too hot and melted it. PLEASE HELP

what size wires did you run?

10 guage from battery to solniod, 10 guage from solniod to compressor.Q: Could it be where I got filter to my compressor close to the frame
