I lived down the street from the kid that had sideshow(BTW that thing's first incarnation was HACK, bodywork started bubbling after a few months) then he owned Jaimey from 's caprice wagon. there was that kid with the mazda with the cyclone style paint that was featured when he was like 15

Holy crap I missed a lot while I was gone today. I'm definitely interested in this thread, being 17.

Thanks Ricky. My bike has actually been in two magazines to this day. When the first one hit news stands I was still 16. It was a small time magazine, but it got me noticed in the bike world, and lead to the second one.
And I am building my truck. I'm doing all the fab, in my own garage, and I've paid for every part thats gone in it. I bought, or made, all my own tools, and bought my own parts with my hard earned money. But, by the time my truck is done, and even close to being feature-able, I'll be 18.

I can honestly say that I paid and still are paying for everything for the whole truck...I started working at 15 and saved every penny and finaly got my parents to co-sign on me a loan...yes I baught it with alot done to it but it was all out of my pocket...In insurance, loan payment, and gass I pay 600 a month and work 2 jobs at 60 hours a week...For a youg guy like me I thought most people on here would have givin a little more respect...No my parents are not rich and they did not pay for 1 thing at all...After I got into the wreck I decided to re-do the paint and we made a custom bumper (looks great in person)....hopefully some of you guys can see it at the show, and maybe meet me in person to see what kind of guy I realy am...

dude, if this is all out of your pocket then congrats.. idk if my original post sounded like i was bashing you, but it wasnt meant to be. And changing things deffinately helps when you buy a built truck.. yes it looks damn good, and im sure it will get featured!
My whole post was just tryin to say.. no matter what the age, if a truck is built there will be more respect to the owner than if it was bought.. especially to a younger person

So the lesson here kids... DON'T PISS OFF MITCH FROM CAUSE HE WILL GET YOU! Anyways, truck looks clean and I know it will get featured. I wouldn't listen to any of the negative comments on here because you will find that the people that bash other people when they talk about getting featured are... The ones that have never been featured themselves. I always say "Jealousy will get you no where!" and that's all it is, Jealousy! So, for me... Love the truck! Clean as fuck paint and can't wait to see the inside of it and some more pics.. Keep up the good work and if your only 16 and you built something like this... Your possibilities are endless!!

...and some ppl would hate on you bc your parents co-signd for you. so, the point is...who cares. i'd rather see some rich kid in a dope ass truck, then see them in a bentley. thats just me, tho.

How did this thread go from "Has a 16 or 17 year old ever been featured in Truckin or Street Trucks?" to another whiny circle jerk? Stick to the topic.
