Has anyone done this that could give me an idea how it works. If so does it mess up your compression. I know that efi runs at a higher compression but heard if you advance your timing alittle it will correct it for the most part. Whats your opinions on it

edelbrock makes the intake manifold, and as long as your tranny is a manual or has a kickdown cable(meaning its not electronic auto) that should be all you ahve to do besides wiring.

np, ive looked into this cuz the 4.3 im puttin in my jeep is goin carbd

Hell yeah i saw your project its look good. I'm thinking bout putting the 4.3 in my hardbody cause got a good deal on it. but I do not want efi. Def carb should be easier and less wiring.

im gona be doin this also on a astro van,,,its an auto so what extra do i have to do? no clue if it has a kickdown cable,,its a 86 astro van? i havnt been under it yet holla back
