Is it a diaprhagm-style valve you're dealing with? If it's a direct-acting or spool valve, the problem could be a bad o-ring seal. Assuming it's a diaphragm valve, there's really only two possibilities- you've got dirt on your diaphragm, or the return spring isn't working properly. Some older Parker and Herion/ Blitzluft valves had a small spring that could break in half, causing a leak. Most newer valves I've seen have a larger spring (including our Blitzluft BlackJack model), so spring breakage is much rarer. The only way to tell what's going on is to open it up and see what's going on! Good luck.

yeah i think i may have just had some debris in cuz i just played with the switch till it sat down and stayed down, i think it blew out whatever was in there. ive got dual port slams in the front with the dump valve coming right off the port wide open so crap is free to jump in there anytime ridin down the road. im gunna put some speed controls in them so i can, of course control the speed of my dumps but also plug that valve so i wont have any more junk in my valves! it was pretty stupid to leave my dumps wide open like that anyways. prob solved and thanx for the help im gunna take apart a old valve and clean it and put it back together so ill know how to do it for the future. ill learn something to make up for my open dump valve stupidity! thanx again for the help!
