throttle cable for s10

in the process of putting a 00 sunfire intake on my truck and wanted to know if i need a new longer throttle cable? Also can I use the original trottle body off my truck with the intake?

we put a cavalier intake on my roommates truck and used a s10 v6 throttle cable and just had to adapt the end to work, his upper a-arm barley clears the intake laid out tho with 245/30 20s with tube arms so i dont think a stock aarm would clear... his screename is RUB1OUT if you wanna check out more pics
