Clogged Valves NEED HELP
I just got my truck back from being painted and my DUMP valves don't dump. The Fills work but the dumps don't. Does anyone know if I can clean out the Dump valves with something or do I need to replace them. It is actually a valve pack not individual valve. Any comments will help. I was going to replace the pack later but if I could get the dumps cleaned for now that would be great. Thanks a lot
did you try cleanin out the valves?
hes asking how to clean them out...Cleaning them is pretty straight forward take um apart and clean them, I dont know what kind of cleaner to use tho i havent had to clean mine yet...
That's why I was asking, If I could use some type of cleaner or spray cleaner.
i use a cannon plug cleaner from my work....like electrical contact cleaner...but are your sure you valve is clogged? could it have just stop recieving a signal to open? did you check the wiring?
^^^I'd check wiring too bro, it would be kinda odd for all the dumps to get clogged up enough not to work at the same time, even if it was in a pack

Im with him.I figure if they where clogged up they would atleast act like the were going to work.If they flat out do not do anything when u hit the switch its almost definatly a wiring problem...
do they even click when you hit the switch
if not its wiring
DUH...Thanks a lot guys I work with electricity as a side job and I didn't even think about that. I will check that out. It must be wiring because it does not even click when I press the toggle down. Again thanks I must of had a brain Fart at that time.
